Not only
laziness...
My computer crashed a few months ago
and it was fixed just yesterday. I
had the time to think about the scene
and I found out something.
I'm in the scene for about three years
and I've used my machine as much as I
could. Of course all the scene guys
make the same and for this depending
their job some parts of their machine
says fuck up. Easy. As I'm a
swapper, my drive crashed and of
course I hadn't the time and money to
have it repaired. The other side of
the coin is that scene freaks usually
have some "clever friends" who can
repair the computer for lower prize.
Those friends are the worst. I've
asked the guy and he promised to be
ready in two days. Sure. But those
friends are usually lazy and they can
always find out anything. There was
no ndflgvkns for the machine. -they
say- and all you can do is sit and
wait.
In Absolute! where are mainly quite
old scene-freaks, that kind of things
happen, and without doubt in a crew
like Phenomena or The Silents the
situation is the same. From our
Hungarian members Rack, CRM, ADT, Ern0
and me had serious hardwaire problems,
McGreen, Hamlet, Asti and Petroff had
to buy a new machine (they all bought
1200) and Viti still doesn't have a
good computer. Nearly all of our
members are in this list. This
problem is even harder in Hungary,
because the computer prizes are very
big compared to the salaries.
@IPamC
Maybe this article sounds like an
excuse, but I wanted to make this
clear. Belive me, it's really not
always laziness that old crews have
delays and that they are unproductive.
